Harddiskcrash

After a reboot neither the BIOS nor the Maxtor Powermax tool find any harddisk so it died more or less exactly three years after it has been used for the first time. Fortunately the Maxtor website explains that it is still inside the warrenty, RMA number is already here we will see what happens.
Update 20.09.2004:

The harddisk is on it's way Maxtor Box.
Update 01.10.2004:
Two weeks after shipping the Replacement Status has changed:
Your replacement drive will ship within the next 2 business days.

Update 08.10.2004:

After clearly more than two days the status changed again today:
Your drive has been shipped via UPS (Europe). Your tracking number is ...

Update 11.10.2004:

The new harddisk arrived today: Maxtor BoxMaxtor harddisk
And is surprisingly 50% larger than the broken one! Maxtor Cover
